The Beta SL jacket, our lightest Beta, is designed for mountain challenges. Extremely versatile, it is carefully crafted to offer complete protection against water, wind, and to be breathable, without sacrificing lightness and compressibility. The innovative GORE-TEX ePE membrane is lightweight, durable, and free of intentionally added PFAS. C-KNIT technology improves comfort and breathability. The helmet-compatible StormHood protects without compromising visibility, underarm ventilation zippers, and the RECCO reflector can be useful in search situations.

Tip: The new ePE membrane technology is lighter and thinner, but just as strong and durable as previously used materials. You may notice that the outer fabric "wets out" slightly faster in products with ePE membrane, but don't worry, this does not compromise the waterproofness of the membrane itself. If you notice that the fabric wets out faster than expected, simply wash and dry the jacket to remove oil residue and restore the full effectiveness of the DWR treatment.
